The following table shows the age and gender distribution. Age Male Female Total 0-5 18 13 31 5-18 61 24 85 18 & Above 232 59 291 Total 311 96 407 The number of Eritreans crossing from Eritrea into Sudan has been on the increase in recent weeks. At least, since the start of the New Year, 894 Eritrean refugees have arrived at the Sudanese refugee camp of Shegraib, seeking political asylum.
